How often does an audiometer need calibration?

What happens if my instrument needs a bigger repair?
When you calibrate with Foster, you get access to our free loaner instruments if your unit requires extensive repairs. Your testing keeps running while we fix it.
What do your audiometer calibration services include?
Annual acoustic calibration to ANSI S3.6 on any brand of audiometer, plus ANSI S3.1 booth sound-level checks on on-site visits. You get a traceable calibration certificate and a reminder before your next due date. Choose on-site, in-house, or mail-in service, with free loaner instruments if your unit needs extensive repairs. OSHA requires an acoustic calibration check at least annually under 29 CFR 1910.95(h)(5)(ii).
